Overview
La Vida Felicidad’s Private-Duty Caregiver Services are provided through the agency’s Home Care Program. Private-Duty Caregiver Services are designed to meet the non-medical in-home care needs of the disabled and/or elderly persons residing in Valencia and Socorro Counties, the family members and or caregivers of these disabled and/or elderly persons, and temporarily disabled adults or those persons recovering from injury. Services are provided through a private contract between La Vida Felicidad and the person-served and/or a responsible party which is outlined in a Service Agreement. La Vida Felicidad accepts private payment for services as well as payment from appropriate Long Term Care Insurance, Worker’s Compensation plans, and other third party payment sources that cover the non-medical in-home care services provided by La Vida Felicidad.
Philosophy
La Vida Felicidad emphasizes the client’s right to continue living in the natural and familiar home environment in his/her community among family and friends. For the elderly population of persons-served, LVF embraces the concept of “aging in place” which values independent community living with the required supports to ensure life quality, safety and health over institutionalization or other restrictive living environments. La Vida’s mission is to promote the client’s full participation in the community, independence, and well-being.
La Vida Felicidad strives to provide ultimate individualized family services. We define ultimate individualized family services as the services that our client’s want, delivered when they want them, where they want them, and how they want them. The services offered are designed to meet the needs, wants and preferences of the entire family unit, with a specific focus on cultural competence in their design and delivery. La Vida Felicidad’s goal is to consistently deliver the highest quality services in an attempt to achieve the highest customer satisfaction. La Vida’s strategy includes delivering value to the customer through the provision of truly individualized services, efficient operational practices, and the highest quality Caregivers and other staff who are dedicated to exceptional customer service.
La Vida is committed to making the Caregiver Services needed by our client’s available and affordable. Home Care staff will work with the client and their family members to help determine through ongoing assessment what services are required by the client to allow them to maintain their independence and well-being. They will also work with the family to identify additional supports that may be required and available and the resources required to secure them.
