Personal Care Services at La Vida Felicidad
Funded by Medicaid
La Vida Felicidad, Inc. provides no cost personal care services for elderly and/or disabled adults. These services enable individuals to live in the comfort of their own homes and achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Eligibility
- Individuals receiving services must be Medicaid eligible on specific categories
- Individuals receiving services must be 21 years or older
- Individuals must meet the Level of Care (LOC) required by a nursing home as determined by a physician. Require assistance with 2 or more activities of daily living

- Eating
- Assistance with Self-Administered Medication
- Skin Care
- Cognitive Functioning
- Household Services
- Individualized Bowel and Bladder Services
- Meal Preparation and Assistance
- Support Services
- Hygiene/Grooming
- Minor Maintenance of Assistance Device(s)
La Vida Felicidad, Inc. will pay a qualified family member (except a spouse or a minor) to care for the individual. Additionally, Personal Care Services may be provided in the individual's residence of choice.
